(Billboard Publicity Wire) April 24, 2008 -- ZionPlanet10 (aka) "ZP-10" is preparing for the "Godfather of Soul"(James Brown) Tribute tour with (Bootzilla "Bootsy Collins"Productions). The tour travels domestically to 35 plus cities with more dates being added. Shows in other countries include: Canada, Holland, Europe, Germany, Japan and England.
Zion appears on Brian Culbertson's new 2008 CD (Bringing Back the Funk), and the lead track, #1 "Funkin like my father", which ZionPlanet10 co-wrote, features him on vocals along with Bootsy. Zion has displayed his abilities on television as well, including "American Idol Juniors", "The Rainbow Push Live Telecast", and most recently, "Show Time at the Apollo".

At 14-years-old, ZionPlanet10 plays keyboards, sings, writes and produces music. He has blazed the stage with many major acts, such as Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Chris Brown and Soulja Boy, to name a few. Zion received "The Key to the City", "The Great Lake State Seal of Michigan" and numerous other awards for his outstanding musical and athletic achievements. Dec 17th was declared "Zion Roberts Day" in his home town of Flint, Michigan. Trained by Coach (Joe Byrd), father of Heavyweight Champion (Chris Byrd), Zion is a skilled boxer and has won three State Silver Gloves and Michigan Junior Olympic titles.

Born Zion Roberts, ZionPlanet10's fascination with all types of music and sports, started early at the age of eight and has progressed ever since.
